Sika Industrial is leveraging revolutionary, proven, world-class adhesive technology from our Automotive and Auto Glass Replacement aftermarket groups into the growing high impact fenestration markets. Driven by regulatory action, such as the Miami Dade protocols, fenestration customers are searching for solutions that offer high green strength for increased factory throughput, and strong, long lasting bonds to a variety of substrates - Sika has the solutions.

Our extensive Sikaflex® product line offers a sealant in a “green”, solvent free formulation while affording faster cure rates and superior adhesion strength. Other Sikaflex® products offer maximum early strength for handling, and an impenetrable bond line as proven in Automotive and AGR crash testing. Both products have been “hurricane” certified and independently tested to AAMA specifications for back bedding applications, and can be applied using standard automated application equipment. Both offer superior bond strength and elasticity properties when fully cured. Sika advantages - both products seal and bond in one application and are a superior alternative to existing bedding sealant technologies.

In addition, Sikaflex® sealants are used widely in the window installation market, and will soon be complemented by “wide roll” SikaLastomer® products used as a window flashing material to seal out moisture.
